Just came to this section after posting in the politics thread to see if there was a thread for this or for Nick in general. Can’t wait!

Rewatched "The Journal" for the first time in probably over a decade and still remembered pretty much all of it. It's sort of surreal there's going to finally be new Hey Arnold at all, let alone a resolution of that ending but I'm so pumped.

does anyone know a way to stream this with a cable provider? i'll be at a friends house, so i can't use the cable app since it won't be my home network... but maybe through a nick app or something?

That was about as good as you could probably expect considering the time gap. The plot of the episode itself wasn’t exactly great or well thought out but in the end it did all the things it needed to do and was still emotional.

12-15 year old me is happy we finally got that

The movie itself was...fine, mostly predictable and really nothing special or very good plot-wise but boy did I love spending another 80 minutes or so with these characters again, especially after all this time. Most importantly, it absolutely nailed the ending and the crucial moment of Arnold reuniting with his parents, got a little emotional there and I'm really glad to finally have the proper ending for the series I never expected to get.

I liked this quite a bit, you could tell they really wanted to make a good TV movie (which they did) and not just coast on the novelty of Arnold and everyone else coming back. I don't know if it was any more predictable than the rest of the series, but I do know it's a solid couple hours and a strong conclusion to the series, especially the last 20-ish minutes. Very glad it exists

I don’t know why but the snake in Abner’s story and then the same snake being there later cracked me up so much.

Basically echoing the previous sentiments but i thought it was quite well done. Lots of throwbacks without feeling forced. Tho personally i was pretty surprised with how everything shook out.

I liked this. It hit all the right points that literally everyone wanted to see, and was full of nostalgia. I found myself laughing at a lot of the stuff I would have laughed at as a child because of the memories the show brought me in the past. This couldn't be anything but predictable though, it was the thing people have been waiting on for years. The ending scene of Arnold finding his parents and Helga being a huge part of it was so good. Big fan, would watch again.

Wait, I feel insane. I thought this was teased as a new movie on Netflix along with the Rocko movie. It came out 2 years ago? I swear I watched a NEW trailer just a few months ago?

I've even been rewatching Hey Arnold episodes on Hulu for the past couple months getting ready for it

    Nope, it was this trailer

I swear it was marketed as a new trailer at the time (a few months ago). I had no idea it had already came out. I'm an idiot.

    Excited to watch though!
