I was told by someone at the festival that the script is out there online somewhere. Pretty sure there are a few versions of it, though.
The film has an atmosphere to it that I haven't felt since It Follows; a constant sense of dread and terror. It's beyond cruel. I have to see it again. Toni Collette deserves an Oscar.
I want a horror movie to fuck me up. It's probably been since The Witch that I felt truly affected by a horror flick. I am so ready for this movie.
I knew this wasn't the kind of movie I needed right now so I went on and read the script. Dang. I thought mother! was traumatic.
Okay so finally during an Instagram ad I sort of figured out what this might be about. Toni Collette's character says something. But even then who knows how this movie will go. Seriously, A++++ job to the marketing team.
