There’s a lot of words that for whatever reason, even though I know the meaning, I use wrong fairly consistently. And I don’t mean to at all I just blurt it out cuz it sounds right

I pressed "look-up" on my phone and got this from Wikipedia

So I still don't know what that means.

yeah I mean to the best of my knowledge it just means, in it's most simplest terms, "to appear to be true". However, I only use it cause it seemed like the thread was progressing to a "use big dumb words" kinda thing haha.
