Preordered. This is so damn catchy.

 

Yeah, I don't think it's as immediately catchy as his older stuff but it grows on you fast.

 

Curious what's different on the album version.

If the rest of the album is on the same level as 'S'Only Natural' then I could easily see this ending up in my top 10 AOTY.

This is really gorgeous, yeah. Wasn’t expecting that! I’m totally down for the singles to be really different styles, that way we get more of a sense of the full album’s sound.

 

He’s releasing the whole album. One song a week.

This feels like it operates in the same wheelhouse as Coppertone and I fucking love it. That trumpet solo is perfect

 

Just listened to both these new songs and I love them both. Excited for this now and realizing I probably need to give Everything Is Debatable a more proper listen. I’m not sure I’ve ever say down with that album.
