So far we know of 4 SoCo shows for 2023. The fact they created socials hopefully implies more news than the 4 shows. New music, more dates, vinyl repressing?
I cant imagine with Andrew's solo career there would be a full time SoCo reunion. This is probably to promote a vinyl repress and a handful of shows but no new music. Happy to be proven wrong though.
It doesn't feel like Tilt At the Wind No More did too well, so I could see Andrew shifting focus back to SoCo as he watches other bands reunite in meaningful and successful ways. Not saying it's going to happen, but it wouldn't be crazy.
I do not see any scenario where Andrew "shifts his focus back to SoCo." Some shows and vinyl re-issues? That I see.
i remember north being in the clearance section on enjoy the ride records website a decade ago but i never scooped it, i do still have my window copy though! it's one that users have messaged me about if i was willing to sell. PASS!
I know I'm just being optimistic, but I don't think it's crazy to think there isn't at least one scenario where it's possible. What if Kim Jong Un points a nuke at LA and threatens to launch unless SoCo release one more album? No way he could say no, right?
Not to be gatekeeping, but info for his campers through Pillar. Just know that there is a Friday show already confirmed. Purchase your flight. Announcement will prob be coming from WWWY people. Seems like there will be a lot of bands doing pre festival shows that night. This will be a collaborative announcement.
Agreed! He has said numerous times in Pillar that all the other SoCo band members have separate lives. Even the 4 shows so far for this year, was a miracle to pull off.
2011 was just a good year to start collecting records. SO much stuff went to clearance because not everyone had caught on to all the classics getting pressed/repressed
