  1. Yeah same, I really hope we’ll get some news from them within the next year. There aren’t really a lot of bands that scratch the same itch that they do

  2. Deluxe out. Two remixes (one of them being the Hundredth one) and then an instrumental version of the record

dang I was hoping for some actual B-sides when I saw this was coming out. Dont really care for remixes and instrumental versions.

Sorry to bump for non news reasons, but late to the game. This record is insanely good.

It’s probably my favorite release of Kam’s to date which is high praise considering Chrome Neon Jesus and Daydream Forever.

Also Kam did confirm that a new record is being written in IG a few months back which is rad. Given his focus on the new Chain Gang record - I wouldn’t expect we see a new Heavenward record til this time next year though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This album perfectly encapsulates summer for me. Especially that summer 3(?!) years ago. Literally feels like this was released last summer.

Never listened to Chain Gang, but listened to the newest singles and they are giving Noel's High Flying Bird vibes, which is a very cool thing.

start with Daydream Forever and FELT. the former is his most well-known record, produced primarily by Isom Inis from Foster The People. the latter was produced by Thom powers from The Naked and Famous, and its A side is probably my favorite four-track run of any album. Honey Moon Drips is also fantastic and a bit synthwave-adjacent/LANY-inspired, and most of that was done by Jason Suiwto (Sir Sly), Nathaniel Motte (3OH!3), and Dan Braunstein (formerly from Volumes, currently producing for Spiritbox, Silent Planet, and Dayseeker).

Wayward Fire is a bit kooky and sometimes LCD Soundsystem-adjacent, but it's still an impressive debut for what it is.
