i remember Kam saying that shipping was originally fucked for the US, so he added a Media Mail option that was much cheaper (although i didn't mind the shipping cost on my copy when i ordered it).

Something Real is creeping into my faves. That chorus has an insane hook. The wall of sound, the guitar riff, the two TING TINGs of the cymbals* all just work so well. Really a great song.

*my knowledge of drums is essentially zero so I have no idea what exact part of the drums make that noise

 

I am loving this record.

 

It’s for sure on my personal AOTY list

 

It’s my #2 on my halfway aoty list right now. Who knows by the end of the year but I find it hard to believe many will beat it out. It’s been on very heavy rotation the last month.

 

It’s wild how this record that didn’t even sell out particularly quickly has already been sold on Discogs for $72, with another copy currently listed for $100

did anyone else who ended up with the white and green variant discover a bunch of surface noise between tracks?

 

I do have a bit of regret about not jumping on one of the pressings, and hope there’s another coming in the future. This record has really done nothing but grow on me.

 

This thread reminded me that I never got this on vinyl and upon looking it up it’s because my dumbass never actually ordered it. So that’s disappointing that it’s sold out now

This is absolutely better than anything Teenage Wrist has released post-Kamtin exit. Is it better than Chrome Neon Jesus? I think they’re equals.

 

I haven’t listened to this yet but I just have to say holy fucking shit beforehand. I was just thinking of Hundredth a few weeks ago so this is cool as shit either way it goes. Lol
