For all of you who have a Fitbit (or any step tracker), what is your daily step goal? And do you achieve it most days?
I try and do 15k a day. I was super pissed the first time i got to 20k in a day and it didn't buzz like it did at 10k, but oh well. And like most things, those fucking "medals" or whatever that they email you upon completion make it addicting. makes me wonder: how many are there? what if i did 50k in a day? what if i cover 50 miles in a day? what happens then?! what's next?!
@Garrett L. my favorite line of that article: "Bake them in the oven for 30 minutes at 350°F, or just toss them directly into the trash because life is meaningless."
I had a Jawbone Up3 for about a week, just got a Fitbit and will return the Up3 (Amazon same-day shipping is legit). This all has made me realize how bad my sedentary lifestyle is. I don't think I've yet to crack 5K steps.
It gets easier. I remember when I was only getting about 5k steps each day. Now I'm hitting 15k with ease most days. You will feel so much better.
had this feeling for most of my run at the gym today. if you don't know what this is from, shame on you and use your netflix more wisely.
My work gave everyone a free fitbit in the winter and I used it for like a week and got bored and stopped. I wanna use it again today but I lost the charging cord when I moved. I know its here somewhere but the dumb thing is so short and tiny I can't find it. Who makes a cord so dumb and small??? I have a feeling I knew it was dumb and small so I put it somewhere I wouldn't lose it and then basically just hid it from myself Edit: bs I found like 5 black cords in my room and none of them were the right one
Every time I go to buy a Fitbit, I read all the one star reviews and chicken out. Because knowing my luck I'll end up with a dud one that doesn't sync.
I ate a cheeseburger and fries. We're stopping in T-ville and getting junk food. I'm really going to hate myself afterwards.
you could buy a cable on Amazon but I guess that would undo the whole free part and I know the feeling because I found an old external hard drive I can't find the cable for and the cable for the new one isn't working with the old one
so something is definitely wrong with me. took a trip to the alleged best bakery in Wisconsin today, loaded up with goodies for work and a family party tomorrow and i really have no interest in eating any of it. it just sat there and stared at me the entire way back but i wasn't into it / about it, at all. really, very strange.
I...I think I fucking love hiking. Not, like, need a backpack and special shoes hiking yet or anything. But paths through the woods are my jam
I have an external hard drive I've never used that I don't have a cable for either lol but I think it may be one of the cables I found earlier! Missing cables are the worst. I need to start doing something with my old ones I don't use anymore so they stop giving me false hope that I've found the one I need
Hoping to lose 10-25 lbs on this upcoming deployment. Beer belly starting to show... get me back down to 120-125 again. Spending a year in korea drinking soju/beer and eating a ton of Taco Bell and Popeye's killed me.
