The thing with people at this gym is that you never know where they’re going. Some people just fly through every single machine. It’s crazy to watch. Some people will just rotate between 5 machines without a rest and then get annoyed when someone else tries to use one.
Eh it's not rly overnight it's like months of no difference. I'm a small built person so a few lb make a big difference but what can u do. I'm glad I'm healthier now but I put on like 10lb two summers ago that are v stubborn. And I know it is not muscle lol. I'm glad I'm healthier than I was but I think I'm getting to an age where the weight I always was isn't as attainable anymore and it's just an awkward/insecure adjustment where im also slightly in denial lol
This happens everywhere unfortunately. If it happens again I would go directly to the owner/staff and they can speak up, police the equipment and possibly even order more if it’s that popular. I’m sorry that happened to you.
Max of two is the only understandable thing. Like. You can’t circuit with more than two with any result, really, unless it’s bodyweight stuff.
My gym is decently sized but it's popular and can get crowded. I am not a people fan so if I have to use the equipment even directly next to someone im like meh. When the cardio equipment is almost full so i have to hop on an elliptical right next to someone else I die inside. Also my fave room is small and often full of people which sucks. And there's always like a buff personal trainer working with other buff ppl and I'm like ok thanx actually for modelling some new exercises I can steal for the future but also ur intimidating so can we have a room for the weaklings and one for the muscley people, thanks. I like working out near the elderly ppl cause I feel like we're more similarly matched oop
Yeah I’m generally too passive if someone tries to cut into equipment I’m using so I generally let them use it, and I just move onto another portion of my set.
I know complex full body lifts are the best way to attack stomach fat without doing interval training (I’m on a lift split, I’ll do an interval at the end of this training cycle), but damn do I hate them.
On day 5 of paleo, definitely feeling better and sleeping better. I usually fuck up because I get bored of the food and im picky but I just found some great recipes for snacks that sound great (kale chips, apple cinnamon chips) and am gonna look into others, any suggestions let me know!
I found a site that has like 53 recipes and the first 4 I have seen all look great and I am gonna make this weekend haha
Down ~7lbs in three weeks. I'm hoping to make it 10 by next Friday when I officially start getting back into weight lifting.
A quick update as the same guy was at the gym today too. It just happened to be real crowded this afternoon so I had to switch things up a bit and decided to do some split squats. In the middle of a set he started hovering and as soon as I stopped he tried grabbing the box I was using. I politely told him I still had 2 sets to go, which he didn’t seem to like but oh well. He did then start stretching right in my space so I had to move a bit, but still felt good to not be a complete pushover.
Idk if my parents scale is accurate but I'm down to 164 which is insane and I don't believe it. Need to find another scale
I think i haven't seen results I want because I go to the gym too sporadically not having a car. Yesterday was too hot to walk there and if i wanna walk there today I have a small window cause there is supposed to be a storm later. And walking there and back takes like an hour or sometimes more and I don't always have that extra time. I took having a car for granted and I will repent if the car gods help me choose a good one!!
I told myself today would be my last day eating fast food so I'm hoping I can stick to that. I wanted to cut out fast food first and then work on cutting out soda completely.
Summer is here which means I can be healthy again. I lose all sense of focus and willpower during school
Well having a work conference for the last week of my diet plan/semi-cut was poor planning on my part.
Cutting pop out of my diet was one of the best things I ever did. I pretty much cut out Gatorade and any other drink (other than alcohol & coffee) that has 'empty calories.' I've mostly cut out all fast food as well, other than a T. Bell visit once a month.
A week into Paleo, carb cravings are completely gone (THANK GOD). Feel much better, sleeping better, am having energy issues however through out the day. I think my body just has to balance out chemically still, idk. Gym is non existent so far. Need to get back.
I think not eating fast food and rarely eating sweets (and soda almost never) has been the thing for me. I drink beer without any regard for health consequences and I've still lost 25 lbs over the last six months
I used to only drink water for a long time but then i remembered how good Coca Cola was. thankfully I think the only time I will really have fast food in the next month is during my vacation where my eating habits will be terrible.
I stopped drinking soda for a few weeks. Was hoping I'd hate it when I drank it again but nope still enjoy it! I don't keep it in the house tho. I've eaten less candy too. Made no different like weight-wise but now my teeth feel super gross if I have too much sugar so that helps cut down. I very rarely drink alcohol so luckily that was never an issue If i go to the gym I eat better and drink more water so it's good all around. But eating out is such a social thing I haven't quite figured that out cause if multiple people a week ask me to lunch/dinner that's a lot of unhealthy choices. And the fresh food I buy goes to waste. Lately I haven't been sleeping well so I haven't gone to the gym because if I get too tired it triggers a migraine. Hoping to go tonight so I can at least go and then get ready for bed and sleep. I get nervous going in the morning if I haven't slept well. Hate this migraine life.
