I eat supper at 4 o clock (bc I'm a granny) and don't eat after that. I drink a lot of water if I'm hungry later.
We eat chicken 3-4 nights a week, mostly the breast but we'll shred it, chop it, etc to give the illusion of variety. We're eating so much chicken, it reminds me of this scene from Little Miss Sunshine... Tonight, we're having turkey meatballs. Thank god!
My wife makes turkey meatballs with quinoa, some scallions, and probably other shit I don't know about. They're pretty good, but whatever sauce she makes is the best part.
That sounds good! Always down for some quinoa (20 year old me thinks I'm crazy for saying that!) My wife is making Greek yogurt tzatziki with it and grilling some sweet potatoes, broccoli and zucchini. Love me some grilled broccoli.
I don't any fruits or veggies (except apples, I've always ate them), but she's been making some sort of cauliflower rice that I don't mind. Slowly eating more and more of them.
We're gonna try cauliflower rice this week, I believe. I'll let you know the verdict. I've had mashed cauliflower, that wasn't too bad.
I do hope that my current girlfriend stays with me. She is by far out of my league, extremely successful in school and work, and is a superb chef in the kitchen. She actually laughs at my kitchen supply and makes fun of me for my lack of diversity in groceries. I also am not allowed in the cooking area because I always mess something up. I even messed up steaming rice once and she roasts me for it regularly.
I despise cooking. My last ex cooked well and it was awesome. Whenever I feel like dating again imma go prowl around some culinary schools or nice restaurants or something to get with a chef
If my SO could cook I'd probably get competitive and try to cook better than her. But mostly I enjoy making breakfast.
I love to cool as I don't have to do it every single day. I need to share the load with someone and then it stays fun
This is what I do. I cover the whole screen and just zone out on the towel so i don't track the numbers and realize time and distance and calories burned are going so incredibly slow. humorously enough, the other day at the gym i did this and a woman a few machines over gave me a thumbs up and did the same herself. trend setter, baby
i used to say, "if it takes longer to cook than eat i don't make it / eat it" but that really, really, really limits the options.
