Same, I'm shocked that this site as a whole hasn't latched on to this. I feel like it would resonate with Brand New fans, could try bringing it up in that thread or on /r/brandnew.

 

This. It's slowly becoming my favourite thing ever.

 

I checked in that thread to see if someone did it and now I keep getting notifications when someone posts there

 

I had epiphany today that this band is going to have a similar career ark to Brand New. Not many care now, but in ten years they will all like they did.

 

I really hope so. The two bands that came to mind right away for me (as far as RIYL) was Brand New and The Hotelier.

Thinking about maybe donating a vinyl copy as a way to get some hype for this record. Any ideas on a simple contest or something? Ideally something that would get the word out beyond this thread haha

 

These guys have been the hardest working band in Buffalo for over half a decade. Glad they're finally getting recognition.

 

Just got my vinyl. Love the lyric sheets and photos from making of.

Well worth the wait.

 

This album rips. Immediately shot into my top ten of the year when I first listened to it like a week ago. Just, wow.

 

So happy to see more people discover this album.

i am coming around on it although i kind of wish they cut all the weird interlude tracks and made it a tad more concise.

 

Might have come in too hot.
But the BN thread is the Reddit of chorus so I won't lose sleep. Haha

 

really liked what I heard on the split with Microwave

but

Microwave crushed them

so I was sure both bands would put out excellent LPs after that, the Microwave being the more interesting one

but

I was wrong! this Head North was a very nice surprise and definitely a go for it record which is always fucking cool

gets a bit messy, but that's part of the fun

Still listening to this regularly front to back. There are weaker tracks sure but I think they show some of the most promise out of most bands out there

 

Honestly this could be my AOTY.

Stranger Sounds is probably my favourite song this year.
