The show was, indeed, a ripper. I'm interested to see if playing IAH all this year has any influence on their writing for the next album.

Definitely one of my favorites of theirs, but when it dropped the change in his clean voice was....off-putting at first, at least for me. Legit thought they got a new (worse) singer and was super let down by the singing as it was one of my favorite parts on IAH.

The music and screams are top notch, so I still listened and now consider it a favorite of mine.

My 6 year old makes me play Mean Shadow every time we are in the car. I must be doing something right.

Hell yeah! That's my favorite He Is Legend song. I think it encapsulates everything that excel at. I wish I could just loop that outro riff for hours haha.

I really wish I could go but they're not coming anywhere close unfortunately. The first time I saw them live was on the SotP touring cycle and they played damn near the whole album back then. They were really trying to distance themselves from I Am Hollywood. I think they played everything off SotP except the title track, Mushroom River, and China White II.

God, I WISH. That’s one of my favorite albums of all time and they aren’t touching the PNW.

Wish they’d play some UK shows. When was the last time they came here? I have only seen them once with Norma Jean (think they were both supporting Atreyu) way back when I was still in school, ha. 2005.

opening trio of albums in this bands discog is up w my favorite three album runs of anyone in the scene, such a diverse stretch where each album offers its own unique identity. have had all three at my favorite at various points over the years, think its suck out the poison these days

It Hates You will always be my favorite Legend album, but Endless Hallway and White Bat are constantly duking it out for the number 2 spot. With Endless Hallway, I feel like they touched on every era of the band while also going harder than they ever have before. Can't wait to see where they go next. It will be interesting to see how the I Am Hollywood and Suck Out the Poison anniversary tours influence the next album.

i cant really get into white bat the way i do the others, but the highlights on that album are really sick, namely the opening duo and the two slow songs in the back half

im excited for whatever they do next for sure though. their whole discog is rad

Impatiently awaiting the SOTP vinyl pressing. I just need to crank it up as loud as my setup can handle

What's everyone's favorite SotP tracks? If I had to narrow it down to five, I'd pick Attack of the Dungeon Witch, Mushroom River, Serpent Sickness, The Pot Bellied Goddess, and (((louds.

louds is the one for sure, such a huge closer that laps the track so victoriously. thought lord slug off the new album kinda tapped a similar energy too

serpent sickness is up there too, first time i heard the breakdown had me grinning so stupidly lmao

I think my top 3 from SotP are Dixie Wolf, SotP and China White II. (((louds might be #4, but my choices can change since they're all so good

SOTP is one of my favorite albums of all time. Southern metalcore is such an abandoned genre now. It's such a shame.

Top songs are probably: Mushroom, China White II, Serpent, Widow, Goldies, and Clouds. They're all good though!
