Really hoping the guessing game was a precursor to them making an album release announcement tomorrow. We're only about a month out from its release.
Sounds like a banger edit: Schuylar posted on the band's subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/HeIsLegend/comments/xgpobc/a_quick_thank_you/ The album is apparently called Endless Hallway and comes out in October.
I will absolutely be supporting this band when the preorders hit. It’s honestly asinine that this band isn’t way bigger than they deserve to be. Fingers crossed that Spinefarm gives them a big roll out.
Still bums me out how much hate it got when it came out. That album gave them a unique identity away from a lot of bands they were lumped in with in the genre and it's such a raw and dirty southern rock album
Agreed fully. I think that IAH took a lot of folks by surprise (myself included) and everyone also just wanted more of that. It’s so clear now though that IAH was not a good representation of their true sound, as much as I still love that album. SOTP was just such a unique step in a different direction. I feel like Dixie Wolf was their last “throw a bone” song to everyone clamoring for more of what was on the first album and the ep
I saw them play Dixie Wolf for the first time live and remember the reception being very iffy, which is interesting since that stylistically is probably one of the more similar sounding songs to IAH.

Yeah, I was there too. I remember they showed up kinda late and didn’t really seem like they wanted to be there. Dixie Wolf definitely did not do well with that crowd. That was the beginning of the end for their time on Solid State I think. As well as the idea that just because they were on that label, they might be christian dudes
Schular commented on that reddit post and said the info isnt exactly correct. might still have a november release date.
