I’m hoping there are a few tracks on White Bat that meet the level of awesome/perfection that the title track is.

 

Yeah, I’m in the same boat. It’s fine but White Bat and Boogiewoman are top tier HIL

 

This totally rips, chorus isn't my fav and fadeouts are lame as can be but otherwise \m/

Yeah I’m not big on the chorus but am pretty into everything else

 

Man these guys write the best chugging riffs out of anyone out there. They cram in tasty offbeats and nuanced accent changes which keeps a very stale metalcore technique sounding fresh. This album sounds like it’s gonna be super heavy. 3/3 on the singles

trying to somehow figure out a way to convince my gf that we need to go see them in richmond on july 4th

 

I can’t think of a more all-american band to see live on its birthday.

Went through it twice, of the non-singles I think Resister Resist Her is my fav. Also really like Skin So Soft and When the Woods Were Young.

 

Gonna hold out till tomorrow since I have Apple Music anyways.

 

Fuck, where did this come from? This is incredible and such a fun listen. Their music hasn't felt this urgent, catchy and quirky since It Hates You. Don't get me wrong, Heavy Fruit and Few were good but this time they're firing on all cylinders.

 

Skin So Soft's crushing ending leading into Boogiewoman... the talentry

This is great to hear. I love Heavy Fruit and most of Few but neither of them captured the magic It Hates You has. Fingers crossed I feel the same about this record!
