Honestly anything under 45 if totally chill. I only found a test pressing so far for $100 lol. What's the name of the record stores you found it at? Maybe they have an online store?
I've seen copies at CI records physical stores, one of which is inside a venue called The Champ. I don't think they put their stock on their website except actual CI records releases. Maybe reach out to them on Facebook and see if they still have it/can hook you up!
Sweet! I'll reach out today! Thanks brother. Also just got emailed the download link for "Few". It comes out tomorrow so it's kind of lame that this is the "get before everyone else" perk but whatever I'm just stoked it's finally here.
I'm not sure if they'll be cool with it since it's not their thing to do online orders, but if you let them know the record's tough to find, you should be good. The people who run that place are tight. Anyone know if amazon orders get the mp3's at midnight or what? Last time I preordered from there was the 1975, and I got the DL at like 2:30
Got my d/l code but don't have computer access! And I got the vinyl shipped to my old address so I have to wait on that. I'm heading to Best Buy in the morning to get the cd.
I'm really not trying to jump the gun but this record really is competeing for the top spot on their discography. It's just so good... damn.. AOTY.
I liked my first listen, but I'm not sure I quite loved it. I do know that Beaufort is extremely good.
Such nasty riffs, these guys do heavy so well. I hope they have a few more albums up their sleeve, cuz no one quite does it the same.
In that interview I saw where he said Heavy Fruit and The Garden were part of the China White saga, Schuylar also said they have already begun writing new music. I'm glad they're in a good place again.
So far, I really really like this album and I love about two or three songs. It's still early yet so I'm sure it will grow on me even more although I don't see it passing up Heavy Fruit.
Liked this more my second listen. Beaufort continues to be the standout and maybe already up their with my favorite HIL songs. Call Ins into Eastern Locust is super cool. Have to say I'm a wee bit disappointed with The Garden, though.
I'm not done yet, but it's got great parts, though I feel that it's going to have to grow. Call Ins didn't do anything for me.
Beaufort and Eastern Locust are my favorites on first listen. And holy shit The Garden is so good. Adam really unleashed the riffs on this album.
Alley Cat is a treasure. Was just thinking listening to Heavy Fruit yesterday that I need more of those bluesy/funky jams like Spout Mouth and Be Easy.
