Can't believe there's 17 Hayley Williams songs and I haven't listened lol but I want to sit down with them properly and didn't have time to last night. Tonight, I will change that.

 

I've listened to this three times today and it's just getting its hooks in me more

 

I’ve only gotten to listen once, but wow, what a great first impression. like Jason said, more subdued than I expected but those songs are particularly gorgeous, while the rockier songs have so much Hole, Garbage energy - I love it

lyrics on Kill Me (also an eldest daughter here lmao) and True Believer really struck me on first listen - they’re some of my standout songs alongside Mirtazapine (INCREDIBLE song), Negative Self Talk, Love Me Different, Hard, and Glum

this is the most excited i've been about a hayley williams project since after laughter, i think

 

This is incredibly good.

 

got glum stuck in my head today. that chorus is gorgeous.

 

A day in, "Love Me Different" is my overwhelming favorite. Bubblegum in the way that CRJ felt coming into her second LP.

Edit: I say that as "Disappearing Man" comes on and reminds me that it's still a tie.

I'm going to be completely ruined when the official tracklist comes out.

Super curious to see how the rest of this release plan goes. Single via public radio followed by a guest appearance mid Bleachers show then 30 hour free streaming of files ... Very unorthodox haha

 

I don’t think she cares tbh lol. Hayley and Paramore are independent as far as we know.

 

Hoping there's a conventional release on the way!

this feels like a more evolved version of Petals for Armor in the best fucking way possible. might be top 5 for me this year.
