View it how you want to. Me waiting should not affect you at all.

how am I being weird lol? in a billboard article from yesterday you have her manager stating "maybe there will be" a track list. i don't think it's weird for me to suggest that there might not ever be an official track list, and that people should just have fun listening to the songs the way hayley intended.

i’m in this camp too! definitely not how i consume music. i like the album experience. i’ll listen when there’s a more -official- track sequencing. otherwise it might break my brain.

You said that whatever Hayley chooses is just another fan track list. But if Hayley chooses it, that’s the one I want to listen to. It becomes far more than just a fan track list. Unless Hayley decides to not do a vinyl release, but she herself said it’ll happen. So there will be a track list. I have patience. Listening to it in whatever order she chooses is also what she intends. Go have fun. Nobody is stopping you.

@Greg are you going to celebrate the 20 year anniversary on the date the singles were released or when the vinyl is released

I also prefer album formats but the way Hayley is doing it here is actually a pretty fun way of handling it, and it does seems like it's getting the more die hard fans invested in it. And then when the "official" track list is picked out and created, the rest will be more interested in listening. And at the end of the day, we've gotten more Hayley music either way

Only problem is I’ve been playing the website order a bunch and I start thinking of the “next” song in the tracklist whenever a song ends so it’ll take some getting used to when I inevitably change it to the vinyl order lol

"Ego Death..." is easily the biggest one based solely on my own anecdotal social media feed lol. Probably because it's the one she bothered to make a music video for, but even absent that, I do think it's easily the "catchiest" as well

Glum was the chosen song to be playlisted, so that's why it's the top one. Mirtazeprine obviously the most proper lead single and then Kill Me looks to be the most popular opening track, don't know if there's anything special that bumps up True Believer

other than the fact that it is special in itself???

I think that’s what he means — there’s not an apparent reason beyond the song itself for why it would be highly played, as opposed to a song like Ego Death which has a music video

    I do not exist.

If I were Hayley I’d select three or four playlists and do limited runs for each track list - so you have three or four variants available and people can still choose one of three or four options. Keep it unique, keep it a bit mysterious and interesting, keep it as singles on streaming. (Keep it annoying for those of us who want something solid).
To be honest, if everyone did this it would be annoying but because this is the first time I’ve ever encountered a situation where there is no ‘official tracklist’ at first I think it’s quite fun. Credit to Hayley and team for coming up with a novel and exciting idea.

Glum really is that song. Such a beautiful chorus.

  24. I'd be fine with something like this, four variant covers for four different tracklists, and without listening first I'd just choose the cover I like most
