The Dead Horse video is so cool

 

Taken is so catchy I can’t get it out of my head. I’m curious what role Joey will play in Paramore going forward, he had so many credits on this I feel like he’ll inevitably end up contributing to their next album

 

I'd be surprised if he's not an official member when they get active again

 

Given Triple J have pretty much ignored Paramore (or any other emo/pop-punk band they didn't discover themselves) for the entirety of their existence, this is a pretty big deal.

 

Bridget might be the best thing to happen to triple j

 

Bridget is a star. One of the better hosts on Triple J.

 

This is very very good. A 15 song record with only one cut worthy song is impressive af

 

It's Taken right? I can't get into that song at all

 

the only song I would cut is Creepin

 

Creepin is so good

 

Why We Ever and Taken are the only tracks that don’t do it for me

 

I like My Friend, but that’s probably the one song I would cut.

 

My Friend reminds me of like Vital-era Anberlin

 

My Friend's chorus sounds like a Minus the Bear melody, and that bridge is 90s pop worship, and I love it.

 

Listened to this yesterday. While I always enjoyed Paramore, I never really dug too deep into them. This album was a huge surprise for me. It's diverse, creative, and fun as hell.

 

Those are the best two!! I’d probably chop “My Friend” and “Sugar On The Rim” if anything.

 

This is some of the best narrative marketing I’ve seen in years. Not to take anything away from the power of her confronting her trauma, but the way she has been able to storytell this entire album to fans/press outlets is really impressive.

 

"over yet" and "sugar on the rim" are the two I tend to skip

 

Why We Ever and Over Yet are my two favorite

 

just listened to After Laughter for the first time in a while. Hits a little different these days.
