this is dope. doesn't really sound like radiohead to me (actually kinda getting more NIN from this???), but i'm super into it. more than i have initially been into anything from paramore, at least. this style of production fits her voice way better imo.
Heh YouTube Music doesn't even bring her up under "Artists" when you search her name, but the new single shows up under suggested songs when you do the search. The only way to get to her artist page is to play the song and then hit the options button and "Go to artist". Seems like none of these services have her set up properly
I like the direction, I think the song is fine. Listened a few times earlier today and I remember the mood more than any individual aspect of the songwriting. Excited to hear more
This is it. Not what I expected at all, in a good way. It kind of retains the groove of After Laughter, more specificaly Idle Worship, but the vibe is totally different. The haunting atmosphere feels new for her. I've never heard her sing in such a menacing way too. A song, a video, and announcing that the album is coming out on my birthday? Santa Claus who?
man, not digging this really at all. Looking forward to a full album from her, but after a few listens this isnt doin’ it for me.
I'm not a MAJOR hayley/paramore fan but this is basically exactly what I wanted, and a a fair bit less pop than I expected. Totally love it.
Yea this shit is dope. Very weird but very much her. Especially that bridge. When the chorus came around the second time I was totally singing along.
Oh yea and that bass is pretty sweet, great job by Taylor on the production work at least from my first listen
For the few that will remember this... anyone else got iamamiwhoami vibes from the video overall? Especially the face reveal at the end
So have we gotten a clear answer that "Petals for Armor" will be the album name? The Instagram just says "Petals for Armor is (at)yelyahwilliams"
