I feel pathetic because my hype and excitement for this project makes me legitimately teary. It’s been rough lately mentally and I really need some new music from my favorite artist ever. (Also the thought of a possible tour in smaller venues makes me so fucking happy)

 

This will be so rad I’m feeling giddy

My only 2 expectations are that it will be a little more laid back than a typical Paramore album, and that it will be amazing. Could see it going 100 directions though

 

I can see a lot of acoustic and piano ballads ahead

 

But give me an album of Future by all means

 

It’s all going to be spoken word

 

I expect it to be way more mainstream than I think people are predicting.

but for seriously her song with Zedd a few years ago still slaps and I’d love a record in that vein

 

I figured given the weird marketing it would be something a bit left-field but I guess any artist can tease that kinda thing and it still be v mainstream. I’m hoping for something refreshing anyway

I don’t think the marketing is left field. It’s what major artists do all the time. She’s on a major label, this isn’t gonna be some weird indie project.

I mean all the lofi silent flower stuff then the moonlit panting doesn’t exactly scream Hayley’s normal vibes to me but that’s my opinion. Definitely don’t expect something massively out there regardless

this video lead me to finding out that I somehow did not know that in 2010 Hayley performed Maynard's part in Passenger with Deftones

I expect an acoustic or piano ballad for sure, the Future post wasn’t serious and was wishful thinking. Don’t think acoustic or piano ballads are ‘out there’ by any means. Hayley isn’t a stranger to acoustic ballads what with the numerous she did in Paramore, and she’s performed stripped back versions of songs on piano live before. Don’t see why either of those wouldn’t make an appearance at least once! Just a thought
