Never been to the Gilford venue. I don't mind Mansfield, but this is much closer to me.

 

The people need a hardcore project fronted by both

Plus they both played at the kilby block party this past weekend

 

i've been listening to the album nonstop since the show, Ice in My OJ and Hard are great tracks but they go so hard (lol) live.

 

Love those songs. Hard is my favorite on the album.

And yeah I love how Hayley uses the megaphone playing Ice In My OJ live. It's sick how high quality some of the uploads are of her shows on YouTube. Watched the entire Boston show in 4K. Shocked the bass and drums don't blow up the audio.

 

not that I have any idea what device those folks are using, but iPhones have some great audio processing going on that helps retain quality for loud, live music. It's kinda crazy how good they can sound with basically no effort on the user's part, other than where you're standing at a venue.

but yeah, it's awesome how many of her shows are just on Youtube in full in great quality.

 

I will say I love my Pixel phone but they are notorious for mediocre video recordings. Would definitely get a blown out mic on my end. They take excellent photos though, which is all I care about.

 

She’s also on my most wanted feature list for my new album. However nobody even asked me smh

Got an email offering me access to a limited release of additional tickets for Glasgow that was sold out - buzzing. Had to be the day after spending £100 on Gracie Abram’s but I’ll take it! (These seemed a steal at £65)

 

Jealous. Still upset I missed out on Manchester (but I also had success with Gracie Abrams tickets so at least I can be happy about that!)

Rhian from Wet Leg did the guest appearance on Saturday! Hot take - I love the guest appearances hate that it’s to sing that nothing part in Parachute.

I went to Friday too, and it was great. Romy from The xx did a cover of Wild Horses with her, but no Parachute guest appearance.

 

i was pretty obsessed with parachute when it was released but i find the ending part doesn’t fit at all.

 

Parachute is maybe my second favorite on the album, and I do love it, but the first verse outshines the rest of the song by a long shot I wish there was a second verse just as strong

 

the second verse with the “i would have done anything” line is jaw dropping. my favourite thing she’s ever done by far.

 

Classic terrible Steve take, the vocal performance on that second verse is literally an emotional peak of her career (and all anyone spoke about when the song dropped).

 

Seriously, such a good verse. I love when separate verses have different dynamics than just the lyrics
