Also a side note for the Saratoga Springs venue in particular, you can't bring your own chair for lawn seating and HAVE to rent a chair from the venue??? What kind of bullshit is that, do most venues just generally do that now? I haven't done lawn seating in 15+ years
managed to snag what I hope is a pretty killer spot (6th row or so of the seats?) for the MS stop, didn't have the heart to go for the pit
That's livenation, baby! Started that a couple of years ago. You were always able to bring your own chair before that.
Yea I'm looking at a venue I last did lawn seating at which my family absolutely brought seats with them, and yea now they also don't allow it. What a fucking scam they developed, jesus
Was ~10,900 in the queue for Gilford and still managed to get pit easily. Was pleasantly surprised, especially by the $99.50 price. Can't think of a better place to see a show in September.
Finally a pleasant ticketing buying experience! Felt like the old days - a little stressful trying to select seats and coordinate with my group, but once I got in the queue I wasn't worried about not getting anything, just where the seats would be. Fair pricing too
I had like 22,000 people in front of me, but my partner got us tickets for Saratoga. Wish being <600 in line meant getting GA, but it'll be good to finally see her at all after getting shut out of every other show near here the past year. I was also ~11k in the Gilford queue and it was showing pit tickets on the map by the time I got in, but saying that they were actually unavailable.
It's damning of all those acts who clearly do not care and let Ticketmaster fuck it all up. It's very refreshing for a huge artist like her to care.
He's going for his purple belt! It's a kids gym that does a mix of TKD and jiujitsu so they're one of those "as long as you keep going, you'll earn your belts eventually" situations but he loves going and it's definitely helped him with confidence and discipline so we're all for it. Feels like our whole week is planned around what he's got going on after school - today we're testing for his belt and following up with the Ducks watch party at Honda Center. His first concert's going to be the Andrew McMahon show in Long Beach, second will be Hayley. Lucky kid!
I got an email about a delay in sending out presale codes but was assured it'd be sent out before they went on sale at 10 but then never received one Hayley why do u hate me so specifically is it because I used to complain on AP.net about the internalized misogyny of miz biz because we've since cleared the air
Really hoping I can maybe get something better for the general sale, really sucks when you just get shit luck for queue and then nothing good's left at your turn
Had tickets to see her 6 years ago, struck out on LA tickets earlier this year, ended up not being able to go to kilby… but I finally got tickets!
Yes for the price, but also I think it's more than anything a case of playing venues appropriate for demand. Arenas just aren't cutting it anymore for A-list artists.
Got three in the 300’s for San Diego. I’d have preferred 200’s but I’m content to hang back with the kiddo.
That was amazing. Parachute fucking slayed, she sang that shit with her whole chest. True Believer is transcendent live. Ice in My OJ is such a banger She brought out Melina and they played that Jay Som song she's on, incredible. Set design and lighting were really cool too, just thought I should mention LA crowds are always so well dressed but damn literally everyone was hot tonight
I totally want a sidewalk bootleg. Watched the show through videos my wife sent me and it looked rad. LA even got a Jack Antonoff cameo!
does your wife know who Hayley brought out for Parachute? i couldn't recognize them and i can't find anything online so far
