I haven't been this fixed on an album for this long in I don't even know. I'm hooked on every song. Something from it is constantly in my head.
I've only been using last.fm since the beginning of 2023, but this very quickly became my most listened to album on there, and like over 400 scrobbles more than anything else. And it's about to get a bunch more this month from the shows coming up.
A little bummed that we aren't getting any Petals For Armor songs live as that tour was eaten by the pandemic but cool that she is playing the entirety of the new one.
Same. I've had it playing practically non-stop since July with only a couple intermissions for The Beaches and Yellowcard.
July??? I feel like this didn't come out until like November. I latched onto it more when she put out the full thing with the 3 extra songs. I've listened to it more since sometime in January.
If anyone’s looking for a ticket tonight, my brother just listed one for face value on Ticketmaster. Edit: Aaaand it’s gone. Less than five minutes on there.
I gotta say I really wish she had chosen another venue to play than HOB in Boston. 1/3-1/2 of the second floor mezz has no viewing angle of the stage, and the backboard was 5 rows of people crushed together like sardines. I’m fine with that, but it was also the only place staff could cross. Half the show was me moving out of the way for barkeeps. I think they well oversold, it felt unsafe that people had to sit on the floor to peek through cracks to see the stage. I can appreciate being there for the vibes, but I paid money to see Hayley. Not even the screens were visible because they’re smaller than my living room TV with no anti-glare protection. Not to mention she was wearing a light gray on a white set. Really bummed. This was my AOTY last year. MGM right across the street is a much better venue and more comfortable.
Damn, that's a bummer. The floor felt crowded, but not oversold to me. First night, after tabling, I just hung out close to the main doors and had plenty of space. Second night, I stayed over to the side across from one of the bars where they have railing to keep your drink on. Definitely packed, but I could move around if I needed/wanted to. At the end of night two, the van taking Hayley to her next stop was stuck in Landsdowne traffic and she was waving to fans. I happened to be outside at that point; we made eye contact and waved at each other, and then I made heart hands at her and she made them back. For a brief moment, Hayley Williams knew I existed, and that made my anxious heart melt. It was also cool to hear them announce she was raising funds for our non profit (BAGLY) before the band took the stage.
Nice! I met her a long time ago and she helped me pick out a tshirt. Obviously she was much younger and smaller but she was so sweet. love BAGLY, yall do great work!
they got a merch pop up by the venue tonight so im gonna see what they have since i cant get into the gig.
it's always weird but great seeing him blow up. i didn't know him personally, but we went to the same college and had several classes together. i knew he had a small online following at the time, but now he's got this larger audience, starring in big-name movies, and singing on-stage with Hayley Williams. kinda surreal how much changed in a decade for this guy who sat in the back of some of my sociology classes.
