conversation got me to throw this on during a flight i just got off of. just can't stop listening.

 

I'm still not numb to how good Parachute is, like it hasn't settled into just another song yet. Every few days I'm re-blown away by it.

 

LIterally me two nights ago, I got chills from it again as if it was a new song

 

i love that we get to live in a world where this song exists. one of my favorite moments in music this year was hearing this for the first time, thinking the song wouldn't live up to the expectations the first 17 set, and immediately being proven wrong with possibly the best song on the album (save for maybe True Believer).

 

And let's not forget this whole thing started by her being like "oh btw here's this random song mirtazapine enjoy".

Showbiz has grown on me immensely, should have known not to doubt her in this era

 

I think it's about time we start talking about Whim as one of her best songs ever tbh

 

Man this record hasnt clicked with me at all but showbiz is so good

Tbh I love this album and it's my aoty but I never got into Petals for Armor and I tried to revisit it yesterday and it still didn't click. Maybe someday!

 

I like Petals for Armor much, much more than this album. But there are definitely some solid tracks on it

 

I thought I liked Petals more but I revisited it today and yeah the new one is my favorite

 

Crystal Clear is just the best solo song she's written imo, nothing really comes close to me

 

I can't decide between this and Petals which one i like more. I initially would've said Petals but this has definitely grown on me

 

I enjoy her first two, but LOVE this one

 

Crystal Clear is masterpiece tier true

 

I think Dead Horse is one of the best songs she's ever made, Paramore or solo

 

I think Why We Ever is my favourite on Petals but I like a bunch on here more than that, I think it's a way stronger record overall.

 

i love so much from Petals, but her songwriting on this album is just on a completely different level. i can point to a handful of songs from Petals that i like but don't necessarily love. with EDAABP, i might only have one or two (which is quickly decreasing in number). plus the highs on this one are just a lot higher for me.

 

Sandbag finally sent out my replacement copy, but i'm not gonna be in town for its delivery, lol. will have my apartment complex hold onto it

 

Yeah I truly love petals and flowers, but this album feels like she leveled up in every way.
