It's because their bot detection is shit. More often than not just using a VPN or even non-ISP DNS can get you flagged. It's stupid.
If you try to resell a ticket the day of the sale, you should be permanently banned from buying tickets ever again.
$85 pre fees per isnt exactly what I was expecting based on her comments about making them affordable for all or whatever she said
I got lucky. Logged into the waiting room at 9:52 AM. Entered the queue with only 90 ahead of me for N1 in Boston. Code worked. Easy peasy. I wish it was this easy for everyone all the time.
I used neither. The only issue I guess might have been that I had one night pulled up on my Phone and another on desktop. Either way, confirmed via text, was logged into my account which has a long history. Was 300 total in queue which meant my chances were good and then got the message. Wild that a company of this stature has such shitty bot detection after making you confirm your account multiple Times.
85 with fees? That's what it was here in NY at least, but I also didn't look closely at the price breakdown because I was anxiously trying to complete the sale as fast as possible before some shenanigans happened lol
Yeah their tech setup has always been my gripe. I guess because their main customers/clients are the acts and promoters (not ticket buyers) so there isn't much incentive to invest heavily in this sort of thing.
yeah it said "sorry, no tickets available at this time" or whatever on both dates when I closed out and I refreshed a few times to be safe.
One or two at best depending on what else is booked, can't see more than that. But I'm also expecting these to be the dates.
not to detract from the ticketing issues, but has anyone with the vinyl experienced any severe pressing defects? i know someone mentioned some pops and clicks on their highlighter yellow record, but i just played my Team Zissou variant front to back for the first time, and side B is plagued with constant crackling/static throughout side B (which i suspect is "non-fill", and some sort of residue embedded into the grooves of side C, which produces a loud popping sound throughout the bridge and some of the final chorus of Zissou. i've reached out to see if they can send a replacement, but i'm wondering how widespread any pressing issues are.
And concert ticket prices is one of the least fucked things in America right now if you can believe it!
