Hammerstein is a perfect room for this in NYC. Fits almost 4k so if she adds an extra night that's like playing a show at arena numbers-wise.
I would have much preferred the Chicago Theatre even though I don’t really like assigned seat shows. I wonder why they switched. That being said, as mentioned above this would have been perfect for the Salt Shed Fairgrounds. Every tour should be routed around playing there now vs Aragon because it’s such a good venue.
No resale/transfers feels promising but I was completely shut out the last time paramore played this venue so I do not feel good about it this time lol
The Aragon is 1500 people more than the inside at the salt shed. Also the salt shed has the same capacity as the Chicago theatre. I’m guessing a 2nd Chicago show gets added with that gap Aragon capacity is 5k Indoors salt shed. 3500 Chicago theatre 3600
Don't think I can go because fuck me already having plans to be away for her dates but I'm signing up to maybe get a ticket for my sister at least
Good job Hayley. It's wild to me how a band like My Chem is giving precisely zero fucks about fans being scalped, whereas Hayley is going out of her way to sell tickets at fair pricing via a fair system. Hayley is a real one.
Pool Water variant arrived! (pool water not included) a little greener than i expected i think? still nice tho
I like Showbiz as a closer. I think the CD ending on Parachute is too big of a downer tbh (even if it is my fav)
Now that we have the whole thing, I'll say I've really loved the rollout of this album and think it actually made it feel a little more special. It's been fun watching the final vision take shape from the singles, to the final tracklist, to the added songs. And I think it's interesting that she flipped the script on singles, essentially releasing them last (I see Parachute and Good Ol' Days as the two main singles anyway). It's been cool to experience an album in a different way. Maybe it wouldn't have worked as well with an artist that I'm not as all in on, or if she hadn't delivered on the level she did, but now having Showbiz and the final package, it feels like she stuck the landing in a big way. I'll certainly take this approach than just tacking on a handful of extra songs 5 months later as a deluxe version.
I hate that. I held off on Tortured Poets bc I knew it was coming, but with Olivia, Sabrina, Ari, and Charli it felt like they came out of nowhere. wdym the awesome single that's on the radio isn't on the CD I have
Was going to write off even trying to get tickets until a few friends said they wanted to go. Going to try but not going to be sad if I'm not successful.
I really respect you both for that. I, however, will have absolutely no chill whatsoever about this and will make it everyone's problem if I don't get into at least one of the shows
