Showbiz is fun and chill, not exactly a homerun like the last two but enjoyable

 

The back of the album gives me big time Factory Records vibes.

Showbiz is the weakest of the additional tracks, but that's hardly an insult.

Side D is astonishingly good.

 

This album is full of sharp songwriting and thoughtful modern production, it's my favourite Hayley release behind This is Why and Brand New Eyes but it could benefit from a shorter runtime, not longer, even if every new addition is as pleasant as the rest of the offering.

 

One of the biggest reasons why TIW is my favorite is how concise it is. Ten songs that get in and get out. Also, it doesn’t hurt that those last four tracks are probs my fav Paramore tracks ever and perfectly encapsulate the band’s sound in the modern era

That's basically the best that the Grammys would realistically offer her. As much as I would absolutely also put it as an AOTY nom and True Believer as a SOTY nom.

looks like a good chunk of the records from her webstore have been slightly delayed. supposedly they'll all be shipping out early next week.

 

Our store sold out at the listening party and said that they're delayed because that plane crash in Kentucky, but they'll be stocked up soon.

 

My vinyl showed up with zero tracking. Can't wait to spin it.

 

i heard this was pretty common with orders from her UK store, but some US customers had the same thing happen. got a completely different record in today, but figured it would've shown up at the same time had it been one of the orders without tracking. guess i'm in the delayed category?
