FYI, the release party near me is raffling off one of those CD-R copies near me and I'd suspect most of them are going to. If anyone's interested in in trying to get a copy, this might be your best shot! details - List of all the stores that are participating -
the benefit here is that it's the same CD-R she sold on her site but with Good Ol' Days and Showbiz included (in addition to being signed). only 500 total copies.
Got into my local party list, really just going to get the tote and vinyl a little early. I feel as a 40 year old man I should let someone else have the CDR (assuming there even is one at this location) haha
Blah, whole reason I drove out of my way to this store in rush hour traffic in the dark & rain was to get the vinyl early & the tote, but it didn’t even arrive and they said to come back Friday. Cool.
Just got my poster, wristband, sticker and raffle ticket for the CD woooooo, gonna get my vinyl copy and tote bag in a bit
Lol they played a message from Hayley but it was on a laptop and people in the background here were talking since it's in a brewery so I could barely hear it. Got little bits and pieces though. Playing the album now and I got my vinyl copy and tote.
And people are talking over the album playing lol but luckily I happened to find a seating spot close to where it's being played. Imagine not being here to listen to the album and not coming alone right after work, couldn't be me >_>
Hmm B&N shipped mine out today so it'll be here on the 10th, which is fine since I got the CD, I just kinda wish they did it so it arrived on release day
Just got back, did NOT win the CD raffle which was sad but a girl who looked very sweet did at least. And thankfully the whole place got quiet when the unreleased song got played, on first listen it was cool. Need to give it a closer listen to hear it more lyrically. The tote is pretty neat looking
got my b&n preorder, it's a little more green than the mockup but looks good. excited to spin it after some meetings.
She mentioned in the video last night that now she has to get out and play shows. Getting married next week so hopefully she doesn't announce for a more couple weeks. Showbiz was fun, but need to hear it a couple more times.
need her to play a venue near me that isn't Chicago. even St. Louis would be great, but Chicago would probably be a madhouse. will still try to swing tix depending on the date.
I'm hoping for Salt Shed in Chicago but for some reason I have a feeling we're going to be looking at theaters. Would just prefer GA so I don't have to coordinate with my group
