this is absolutely incredible and i was pretty critical of her solo work in the past. maybe i need to go back to those first two records now that i'm a bit more mature/expanded my music palette. i'm obsessed.
really curious who's gonna handle a physical release for this (assuming it gets one). might be indicative of who they signed a distribution deal with for a potential 7th Paramore album (if one is still happening)
kill me, true believer, and hard are the standouts for me on first listen. this is easily my favorite solo hayley album so far if this is indeed an album. need this on streaming/vinyl soon!
Good stuff. Follows up the last two pretty well (both underrated af). More subdued than expected. Need a proper track listing and quality.
I really love both of her solo albums and on first listen of these songs I feel like it’s gonna be her best!
First time listen favs are Love Me Different, Disappearing Man, Hard Followed closely by Negative Self Talk, Mirtazapine, Dream Girl in Shibuya, Glum This is a very good record.
My presumption here is that (seemingly) she and Taylor are done, so Paramore must be for a while (a LONG while probably), and Hayley will focus on this solo album and get to promote and tour behind it, something she didn't get to originally with Petals thanks to COVID. Curious if Zac Farro will drum for it, and if he did so on this album as well?
i understand that the music and lyrics lend itself to speculation but i really wish it's something we could keep out of here. it's none of our business unless they decide to publicize it.
i'd be all for a hayley/zac solo record tour. have him/halfnoise (is that still a thing) open. they play a couple p-more hits as the encore. would be good!
