IMO having “kill me” first and “I won’t quit on you” last are the non negotiables, the rest is whatever
i'm waiting for--hoping for?--a vinyl release, but that would require a set track order. if she says there outright isn't gonna be one, then sure, i'll download them and listen to them on shuffle or something
the video she posted today on her IG stories indicates there will be a vinyl release. she's using Secretly for distribution too, so i'd say it's definitely happening.
I have the sequencing I like and that works for me, I’ve listened on shuffle the last few times and it works too. They are just good songs Relient K’s Air For Free has a different sequencing on Vinyl and I love listening to it both ways so I’m not worried about the sequencing for a physical release.
So, since I deleted Dream Girls and Discovery Channel, my transition is way too weird from Zissou to Love Me Different and now I fear I need to change the track listing. I guess I'll cave in. But I think Kill Me is the best opening option.
Got through all the tracks after a few nights and definitely think this is clearly her best solo work yet
And I’m the one who still loooovvveeesss your ghost… I can’t get this out of my head no matter how hard I try.
Ego Death is a fine title, but i prefer Ego. Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party is too long and doesn't feel like a fitting title for all 17 songs, but it's whatever
also just gave this another listen. this is probably gonna end up outranking her other two solo records and several Paramore albums at this point.
