Been listening to these as I can given I’m at Lolla this weekend, so this release strategy actually worked great for me given the timing. But god damn these songs are phenomenal. I still need to listen a lot more but I’m loving so far.
I feel like I'll make my own tracklist soon. I really liked "Disappearing Man" and "I Won't Quit On You" at the end (website order), but wasn't sold on the opening. But I kinda dig "Ice in my OJ" and "Glum" as track 1 & 2 (playlist order) but not sure I feel the rest as much from there.
God himself can reveal the actual tracklist, I’m still not changing it from that initial one posted here.
Sorry, this is forged in my mind already for a track listing. Kinda like Thrice’s first two full lengths that I downloaded, only to find out years later the track listing wasn’t what I had, but it’s too late to change it.
So, not necessarily the track layout, but a few songs on both albums that I just didn't download for whatever reason. When I *did* eventually buy them, it was just such a distraction in transitions that I just put those tracks in my Thrice B-Sides albums in my digital library.
Each day this week, I should just post "so and so random person" posted the tracklisting order and see if people buy it. Anyways, Liam Neeson is personal friends with Hayley's manager and he said this was the order. 1. The 2. Order 3. Does 4. Not 5. Matter. 6. Make 7. Your 8. Own 9. Order. 10. That 11. Is 12. The 13. Fun 14. Of 15. This 16. Project. 17. I Won't Quit on You
Jokes aside, this is my favorite thing Hayley has done since After Laughter. Really great stuff here.
not too sure cos I don't have insta, I just crossposted from reddit. put "apparently" in my post cos it could well be bullshit for all I know haha
I'm listening to it rn just outta curiosity and it's flowing pretty well but yeah I'll probably just end up making my own version of this eventually, feels pretty clear now that that was the idea of this thing. really cool tribute to the mixtape/bootleg era imo
This one's been stuck in my head all day. Every single song from this drop could be the #1 single. But today, it's this one. I mean, that's the point with these releases. They really do stand on their own. Hayley deserves her flowers (or petals?).
i looked at the Reddit post and someone just compiled it based on the order he posted the single covers on IG and called it "his" tracklisting. not putting stock in it, tbh
If I’m honest, I think large parts of this just haven’t really clicked for me. It’s a bit slow or downbeat in places for my tastes. But Kill Me, Negative Self Talk, and Mirtazapine have all really landed for me already.
God themself can reveal the actual tracklist, I’m still committing to listening to it on shuffle every time.
