"We have not done an online show in a year or two, and we miss playing acoustic for you guys. Instead of letting some other company take nearly 40 percent to host it on their site, we decided to host it ourselves. We will be playing some classics, rare songs that we have never played live before, and possibly something new. This ticket is only 5 bucks, and we will play as long as we can. The show will be held live on Wednesday February 21st at 9pm EST / 6pm PST. There will also be an archive of the show online for five days following the performance so you can view in case you cannot make the performance time. You will be emailed a an access link to view the show, the week leading up to the show."

Back on topic can I say this band doesn’t get the credit it deserves nowadays? They’re genuine with their music and just do the music they want, and HURT was an amazing release

 

I'm not a huge Hawthorne Heights fan, but I love it when bands do things like sell unconventional merch, or stream their shows online. Any attempt to bridge the gap between artist and fan is a good thing in my eyes. Besides it just makes it more fun for the fans. It might just seem like "watching a YouTube clip" but I'd gladly pay $5-10 to see a concert streamed live that I couldn't make it to, or a special acoustic performance dedicated to the fans (like this one) - It's pretty awesome if you ask me.

 

I can't believe it's been 10 years since Casey passed away.

I'm glad these guys are still able to do what they enjoy and think of new ways of doing it.
