Hawthorne Heights, always being clever with new marketing ideas, have launched a new home school hangout product:

In part one of our Home School series, we will be giving you an in depth and inside look at our debut album, The Silence in Black and White. We have put together a master class style presentation detailing stories from the beginning of our band, the writing process, early tours and our memories from being in the studio making the album. JT will be going through lyrics from the album in detail and explaining where his mindset was when writing them. We will also chronicle what they mean to us now.

Seems like a cool idea and I’m interested but not at that price

I've never been the biggest fan of theirs, but I've always been impressed at their ability to adapt, be creative, and keep their band going for as long as they have. Really impressive.

    So assuming that this weekend...

This is a really cool idea.

It's also really similar to what Anthony Raneri is doing on his Pateron. For his weekly vlogs he's giving an oral history of Bayside. He just put up the first episode last week, and it was fantastic. He talked about the first iteration of Bayside and the band's first tour.

I know that he's friends with JT, so I wonder if one of the guys inspired the other to do something like this.

always cheering for these guys. Back in the AP days, I messaged JT to weigh in and give me advice on my 14-year old band drama and he wrote me a full, thoughtful response to what was certainly a wild cringefest. Opened for them a few years back and they were nothing but kind. I am always a bit embarrassed about that show because my friend fed me bad info about them touring in Barcelona, so I was like "Yo, I hear you guys are going to Barcelona, that's sicks" and JT was like "uh no..." lil awkward but still a great day overall.

Just did their EMO bingo last night and had a blast. Will definitely play again, and will most likely sign up for the If Only You Were Lonely class.
