Years and years of retail makes me hate Christmas too. But I’m excited for this

 

I normally hate Christmas media, but this looks great IMO

 

Now I want a Thanksgiving special where the High Evolutionary makes mutant turkeys.

 

I enjoy anything Christmas. The movies like Jingle All The Way, the old claymation films, Elf, Santa Claus. All great films. The music. The lights. The aesthetic. So this being placed around Christmas is icing on the cake.

 

New trailer and confirmation that the first two episodes will be released November 24th.

 

Very nice. A good watch over Thanksgiving week

 

Lucky is clearly the star of this show.

 

I can feel the Christmas spirit. I like it

 

Okay I was wrong, they really are leaning into the humour angle, be interesting to see how it comes off

 

First impressions are pretty positive based on what I've seen on Twitter

 

the long take car chase in the new D+ preview is very fun.

 

They cast a good Kate Bishop for this. I’m looking forward to the first episode.

Not to put a damper on it at all, but at first I thought, oh that's cute, the dog's winking at the audience.

And then my memory nudged me and said "You do remember Lucky's blind in one eye, right?"

Cue my pleasure slowly giving way to horror.

Well in the comics it's part of his origin story and how he met Hawkeye. I'm assuming they're adapting it here.

First two episodes were fun. Hailee is pretty much perfect in this role. Not enough Lucky though

 

First episode felt off. I don't know if it was the pacing or the writing or what, but everything felt very stiff. The second one was a lot better IMO. Very happy they decided to release both at once.

 

Just watched the first episode. So far so good. Kate is already a great character.

 

I couldn't quite put my finger on it either but you're right, it felt like it was mostly moving pieces into place. Which I guess you can get away with when you have an in-built fanbase and release the second episode at the same time, but still.
