The comic was pretty humorous so I don’t mind that

I feel like this Kingpin rumor is the next Mephisto, and I'm not loving it. I can't wait for everyone to be disappointed when it doesn't happen.

 

I think it's better for everyone to assume none of the MCU Netflix characters are showing up anywhere anytime soon.

You're absolutely right, but I do like to believe we'll see them somewhere at some point. If anything, Daredevil is too big of a name to not have show up at some point in the future.

Also, and I know people will fucking hate this, but I would love it if Shang-Chi encounters Iron Fist at some point.

 

A combination of the fact that Echo is in this show, what's-his-name is tied in with her comics origins, spoilers websites are claiming they've heard he'll show up, and fans can't seem to get over the fact that the MCU is not going to adhere to comics canon as religiously as they do.

Definitely looks like it's inspired tonally by the Fraction comics, which means that it'll be a good fun time and any sourpusses can bite it.

 

A credible insider posted months ago that Kingpin will be in the show but that it could be edited out if No Way Home was delayed (at that time Sony and Marvel were still waiting to see). With NWH not being delayed, it’s safe to say Kingpin is in the show.

I feel weird about holiday themed episodes of shows because then on repeat viewing it makes the episodes feel oddly dated. I'm not sure if that's what your thing is about or not.

 

It legit pisses me off that I loved that trailer. I figured there was no way I’d waste time watching this when I could reread my Fraction/Aja/Wu/etc. omnibus instead, but I love the Christmas, the tone (though we’ll see if the show actually follows through on that charm), and the Hailee-Steinfeld-as-Kate-Bishop.

So help me, if the second Disney+ Marvel show I watch is the one starring Jeremy fucking Renner…

 

Of all the Marvel shows, I’m most excited for this. But this is also very true.

 

Idk I liked Renner until all the shit about him being abusive came out, he can [redacted] now though

the really "fascinating" thing is they stuck with him despite all that

 

Only Christmas stuff I generally enjoy are a couple movies, like Christmas Vacation and Home Alone. Can't stand Christmas music and dislike most Christmas movies (especially A Christmas Story, one of my most hated movies of all time).

 

This looks so fun and cheesy.

 

I do like that Hailee pulls off Kate exactly as I pictured her…so long as this trailer is a good sample of how she’ll be.

 

Fraction run is my favorite comic run of all time so I am all in on this

I hate A Christmas Story mainly due to how often it’s played. Turn on Jingle All the Way and I’m good.

New York does look great during Christmas, though, so this show should at least have some beautiful scenery shots.
