Finally watched the last episode. First time I tried watching it, I fell asleep. That about sums it up. I liked the tone and enjoyed how it stuck to a set time period throughout the series but this episode made it clear that there were far too many storylines to tie up. Also feeling the home alone references. The 20 minute ice skating rink scene was so not needed. Would have loved more character driven story for the last episode. Kate’s character just seemed very one note through the whole thing. But at the end of the day, entertaining and glad to have some Marvel to watch.

Personally I thought it was lame, but that’s because I generally just do not care about musicals. But I certainly don’t want them to feel bad about it.

It was literally perfect at what it was going for. Hilarious bit.

Literally the only thing I can think of is people were expecting a plot-based mid-credits scene rather than a humorous one?

And, like, Marvel have been doing this since phase 2 lol

I think it's a combination of that and the fact that they left Kingpin's fate up in the air. The only relevant post credits I could see is either that to lead into Echo or something related to Yelena.

Anyway, I myself was annoyed slightly cause I thought the musical was cheeseball, but I'm not mad about it and certainly not annoyed enough to complain to the makers. People are ridiculous.

The musical thing was good for a laugh in episode 1 but then just overkill at the end. If you want to keep subscribers throw in some Easter eggs that hint at future series.

Imagine getting so upset that they threw in a fun bonus at the end that basically everyone was asking for anyway

the musical number was good actually and honestly a spot-on idea because someone absolutely would have turned the Avengers into a Hamilton-esque musical IRL

^^^^Yep. Steve Rogers getting a musical about his life/the avengers is 100% a fact if this was the real world lol

Well sure but i meant i actually didnt like the choice or idea to actually do that instead of giving another more meaningful post credit scene, but overall who cares lol

Being lame on purpose is still lame.

I e stuck around to watch every post credit scene and this was the first time it sang a complete waste of time.

This discourse reminds me of when the Mindy Kaling episode of Always Sunny came out and everyone in that thread was like "no, it was SUPPOSED to be a bad episode to show Dennis's absence". So what? It was still bad lol

Haha to each their own, I just feel like I remember seeing some people acknowledge they thought it was bad but still played it off like it was a genius decision and I thought it was funny

Something being intentionally cheesy is different than intentionally bad

I guess if you were expecting somethin meaningful in the post credits I can see why you're upset but I truly barely expected anything of importance at all to come from this series, just thought it was meant to kind of wrap up Clint Barton's involvement in the MCU so anything I got post-credits was a bonus to me. Seeing hte silly song that Clint was so embarrassed watching was good enough for me lol

It was fine, and really not worth discussing for this long even if you did hate it tbh
