Fun series, finale was great but I was definitely expecting a post credit scene showing Kingpin still alive, will be super pointless and annoying if that's not the case

Supposedly there is now a break for the entire MCU until Doctor Strange 2 comes out in May. What If S2 and Ms Marvel are due in "summer" and Moon Knight and She-Hulk are, as you say, not yet dated.

Pretty sure Moon Knight or She-Hulk will end up releasing before May

I'm gonna try not to retread on people's thoughts already shared.

I thought this was fun, and I had a good time.

That line from Eleanor at the end about mothers on Christmas was really fucking cheeseball.

I am a little annoyed that we don't have any definitive yes or no on if this is the same Kingpin from Daredevil. And I don't believe for a second that he's dead because we didn't see a body. My feeling is that when Echo comes out, it will pick up right where this left off and show he didn't get killed.

Yelena and Kate need their own show together.

I'm glad Lucky finally got his name.

My feeling on the post-credits: "Are you serious right now?"

I don't know if I agree that the watch proves his wife in this is Mockingbird, unless there's a watch Mockingbird has in the comics or something else about the watch beyond showing his wife was a SHIELD agent. I think saying she's Mockingbird is taking a leap of logic based on the comics that doesn't necessarily have to be true.

EDIT: Okay, I missed that the watch actually had the number 19 on it. That is interesting. Until they say it out loud though, they're just cowards.

The watch had a 19 engraved on it. Clearly got agent 19.

Enjoyed the finale quite a bit. Bummed we didn't get much of a story for Lucky tbh. Hopefully next season (if there is one)

So I'm reading in multiple places that the cufflinks Kingpin wore in this and that Kate used to set off the arrows at the end of the episode are the same cufflinks from Daredevil, the ones that he said were a reminder of his father.

It's a nice nod, but again, they need to stop being cowards about this. Either make these things canon or don't.

Unless they reveal that Fisk took a super soldier serum after DD ended, I don't think this is the exact same version of Fisk tbh.

    Or it's just lazy writing

This is obviously a new Fisk. One that will be able to go up against Spider-Man.

  13. I thought he was pretty tough in Daredevil too, though?

The Netflix characters will be the Netflix versions until it's more convenient for the story to change them than to work around that continuity

Has anyone confirmed they are the same? I think it’s all just speculation at the moment

No but they've treated both Matt and Fisk like they're characters the audience should already be familiar with. I think it's a safe assumption that the broad strokes from the Netflix stuff will stay canon until they say otherwise

I'm telling you all, it's a conspiracy so they don't have to recognize Iron Fist. Fistgate must be exposed.

Idk what they would need to change about them. Can't imagine they go a third go around with Elektra, and I see so much whining about Fisk's being dumbed down or something, he literally had two brief convos and a fight against someone that was the equivalent of a bug to him. Like what can anybody draw conclusions about after 5 minutes of screen time

I enjoyed this series. It was fun. I’m also expecting them to not make Fisk blind and that the gun shot was a warning to him. I expect him to show up in Echo and hopefully a Spider-Man film.

Have zero interest in multiverse stuff right now. Just want to see spider man and daredevil team up against kingpin.

I'm just glad they circled back around to that one Tracksuit's relationship squabbles. I was on the edge of my seat wanting to know if they went to Imagine Dragons or not.

This show was great, largely on the back of Steinfeld’s performance. Looking forward to more from her in the MCU.

And also looking forward to Renner being gone, of course.

I thought this was the best episode of the series. Loved the trick arrows and the track suit fight. Very comic book-y. I didn’t love the series as a whole even though it had a lot of bright spots.

I’d guess she shot Kingpin in the chest and he some how survived. We didn’t get the on screen death. And granted, pretty graphic for a Disney show to show someone being shot point blank, we did still see John Walker smash a guy’s skull in with a symbol of freedom. And as for Kingpin being super powered? I don’t know but even in the Netflix shows he took several beatings that would have killed a normal man and other media is quick to show that arrows don’t necessarily always kill someone.

There was a post credits scene besides the musical?

The scene where they made the trick arrows together gave me major vibes of the sequences in Home Alone 1&2 where Kevin sets all his traps. Could just be the whole Christmas aesthetic but that’s where my mind went during that scene.
