I saw this with the quote: “WHY IS TAYLOR SWIFT IN A HARRY STYLES ALBUM COVER?” referring to her song Mirrorball and someone replied with this. I laughed so hard.
Taylor also invented music and writing your own songs and also blue jeans and red lips obviously. Probably the real author of Hamlet too smh men always trying to dull our shine.
He’s been doing listening parties for the single at record stores in different cities around the world today - early reactions are that it’s different for him, very beat-driven and energetic.
Lots of comparisons specifically to “Dancing On my Own” by Robyn and “Backseat” by Balu Brigada. Song is 6 minutes long apparently and doesn’t have a typical verse-chorus structure. Sounds like a major change in sound for him based on people’s comments, I’m so stoked.
Bro must not realize NY isn’t the only state in the US. 30 straight shows at Madison Square Garden. I'll try to get tickets towards the end of September/Beginning of Oct
wow wtf i played with this powerpop band called spud cannon years ago and i was today years old when i found out that two members of that band have now become fcukers and are opening for harry in sao paolo? lol
couldn't agree more. granted, he did sell out all 15 nights of harry's house @ msg, but still, things feel financially a lil different for the common concert goer between now and then. Should be interesting to see how the attendance sustains given the double length i'm so curious about this release, i really hope it is his best work. i would love for him to have like a charli xcx universally undeniable moment
Sounds like solo thom yorke meets deadbeat-era tame impala…it’s a vibe for sure. Makes a lot more sense having Jamie xx open the MSG shows if this is the throughline on the record.
