I swear all the 90s Britpop icons have turned into huge snobs as they’ve gotten older lol. I feel like there’s always been some of that mentality in that scene, but it’s just funny to me because bands like Oasis and Blur were the dominant chart artists for a time… and now they’re constantly whining about Taylor Swift or Harry Styles or whoever is currently the big thing.
Not hard to choose between the Gallagher brothers these days when all Noel does is bitch and moan and all Liam does is tweet things like “snow is fuckin biblical mate boombaclart as you were LG x”
My sister still hasn’t received her refund from the show cancellation ages ago, so idk if her tickets will be eligible for this show now
Did it really?? A full month early is a pretty colossal fuck-up for a huge major-label release like this nowadays, pretty rare. Wonder how that even happened tbh
Hmm, I just downloaded the apparent leak but it's a fake. I probably just don't even know where to look to be honest. Or the leak isn't real.
This is so good imo. Feels like his most ambitious work so far despite not having any longer tracks like the first two albums.
I’ll admit I’m surprised that this is my favorite album by him so instantly. It’s definitely significantly less reliant on classic rock signifiers, which were a big part of what initially drew me to his solo stuff in the first place. But it feels to me like he’s developing more of his own sound as he continues his solo career… his progression has been cool to see.
