Although I was never a One Direction fan, I enjoyed Zayn's album and I'm semi-excited about this.
So ready for this. Coming out a lot sooner than I expected.
Dig the new song.
Really thrown off that I enjoy this song as much as I do to be honest. I definitely expected him to go down a more predictable route. The song is a jam though.
I'm liking Sign of the Times more and more. Can't wait to hear the rest.
Bless u for making this thread cause every time I thought to do it I didn't have the time!! Excited but anxious to see him on SNL.
Ppl guessing he'll play "Kiwi" tonight cuz he was handing out Kiwi to fans waiting in line for SNL so !!!!!!!!!!
yas, king of fruits!!!
Harold, I thought we were done with the screech singing
album of the year already
and I ain't even heard it yet
shoulda played Kiwi
Probably my favorite piece on his performance, and it's how I feel 100%. I am so ready for this album.
I stan this so much and the music i didnt know i needed. Never gave 2 shits about 1d but quite impressed by this material so far. I also hate people who are too music snobby to enjoy this just because its an ex 1d member. Like yooooo use your ears, listen.
Tbh I hear so many people talk about how he didn't go the expected route but there's no way like anyone saying that has listened to the last few 1D albums. If anyone likes his solo stuff I'd implore them to listen to like the last 3 albums!
people who hate pop music are the dullest
gonna shamelessly plug myself here bc relevant:
Cameron Crowe interviewed him!

I think I have only ever heard one or two One Direction songs, but I really dig this song. I hope the album is as good.
Also, that Rolling Stone piece was excellent. I think this Harry fellow comes off really well. I knew next to nothing about him before.
EDIT: Although, I should add that my bar might have been lowered because I just recently read the article from Billboard about the Chainsmokers and those guys are absolutely horrible. haha
This is an EXCELLENT performance... vocally he's really on point here, far better than when he did this song on SNL imo.
I have been SLAIN. omg I wish that had been the SNL performance. He seemed so much more at ease. Every time he smiled I kind of fell apart and died again. It was so good!!
He annoyed the fuck out of me dropping a song called "Sign of the Times" on the 30th anniversary of Sign O the Times, especially when such a portentous title has such vapid lyrics.
But I love the damn song so much sonically and love that he gave zero fucks about fitting into pop radio.
Sidenote, I really liked what he had to say about pretension in that rolling stone article which is funny cause I think he's simultaneously goofy and kinda self aware but also pretentious af
