Yeah unfortunately they will be the most vocal too. Same thing happened when Rowling race swapped Hermione in the play.

 

I will say race swapping Hermione feels like it makes more sense to me than Snape.

 

I do always picture a very pale, emo looking guy when I think of Snape, but as long as the actor nails the character I’m fine with whoever the guy is that plays him.
