There is literally no difference between adult fans of Harry Potter and adult fans of Star Wars, or Disney, or fucking sports teams lol it's such a meaningless and overused criticism. "There must be something wrong with this adult who enjoys something a lot"

I’m still on the fence. Is it good that the show will allow more breathing room and include stuff the movies couldn’t? Absolutely

Will it be able to capture the magic and charm of the movies? I hope, but I’m not optimistic

 

The "coming soon" part has me confused. I don't follow it much, but is casting, synopsis, etc released already?

I just don’t understand how 8-10 hour versions of those first couple books will make sense. This needs to be very stylistically different from the movies to be worthwhile, but I feel like doing that will also piss everyone off.

 

Those people are going to be pissed off no matter what that show does.

 

They’ll probably add some original content up until prisoner or goblet to fit the episode count.

 

Anyone who has a PS5 and has PlayStation Plus should check out Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions. It’s free this month with PS+, and the gameplay on it is about as good as you could hope for a quidditch game. I’ve had fun with it.
