I've never watched the films but while I was Japan I decided to watch the first four on Netflix. Third film def feels like it was made in the early 2000s. Goblet of Fire is a good watch, but only the first film captured a real sense of adventure for me. Was waiting for that feeling to come back but it never did.

 

If I remember most of the films came out around the holiday season, so it always reminds me of going to the movies Christmas time with my family.

also I think conservative influence in the game is a thin percentage. This game is a success because it’s Harry Potter, and it’s actually done well.

 

I prefer the books to the films by a far margin

 

I remember the hype of the films when they were released but that’s all the memory I have of the franchise. Never read the books.

Still don’t know what it means when someone puts hufflepuff, gryffindor, slytherin, or ravenclaw on their dating profile. Is it like a nerdy INFJ?

 

Hufflepuff are dorks, gryffindor are the heros, slytherin are the bad guys and no one cares about ravenclaw.

Did anybody catch the two suits of armor in one of the hallways in Legacy. Every time I ran by one suit was humming or doing something the other didn't like. Eventually after running by them a few times the annoyed one just steps out and destroys the humming one haha.

I’m guessing the success of hogwarts legacy made WB decide to push forward with the curse of child. Daniel, Rupert, and Emma are all set to be returning.

 

Didn't Rowling say that was never going to be made into a film when it first came out? lol

 

I honestly think some of the original stars wouldn't want to come back

 

I mean, it’s the logical next step for movies. The Beasts movies were not a wild success with box office falling each film. Not to mention critical success also falling. Stopping those and bringing in the OG cast is the smart business move for WB. Use nostalgia and familiarity to bring people back in.

 

Yeah but that was years ago. I wouldn't be surprised if they change some of the story tbh

 

The article claims they are set to return, but also that the film could be up to 5 years away. So it's not exactly being rushed.

 

No matter how overblown you think the hate for this game is, always remember it’s much, much worse on the other side. safe to say this games launch is emboldening these people.

Hogwarts Legacy wants to make everyone happy, but Harry Potter gets in the way

I thought Daniel spoke out against JKR? Pretty disappointing if he’s going to be in the movie. Disappointing of all of them honestly.
