The HBO reunion special got me pretty emotional, especially Rupert & Emma’s moment near the end. So sweet.
We just watched it and it was well done. Really liked the style and the way they paced it. I don’t foresee any of them returning for any future Potter projects. This seemed like closure.
i think a Cursed Child film adaptation is inevitable, and i think the main cast would absolutely return.
Just finished this. A nice nostalgia trip. The last few moments with Emma and Rupert was nice to see.
This was excellent. Definitely made me emotional. Who was everyone’s favorite character from the series? Books or movies, whichever.
Snape and I was kind of shocked they so quickly glazed over Alan Rickman’s passing. Kind of makes me wonder if he was as close as the others. I was expecting to just be an emotional mess hearing the cast talk about his passing and there just wasn’t much there. I can remember reading the first few books with my high school girlfriend in 2000 and saw the final movie in theaters with my now wife. Just a crazy long span for something that wasn’t expanded upon with prequels or later sequels. Such a huge part of my life. I once hosted a concert by Harry and the Potters at my college and partied with them afterwards. Weird times. We’ve seen the play twice but have no desire to see it turned into a movie or any desire to see anything else involving core characters come along. The only thing I’d be into was a Luna offshoot. Feel like she was a minor enough character that is beloved.
I liked Draco more in the movies than in the books Overall I like the books as a whole more than the movies
Was gonna joke and say JK Rowling because of the character she's become. In seriousness though, I've always been a fan of Sirius and Dumbledore
Just watched the reunion, so good to seem them all again. As for favorites, always gravitated more towards the the side characters for some reason, specifically Lupin and Luna.
The reunion special was so good. I honestly got goosebumps and started tearing up at that first wide shot of Emma, Rupert, and Dan in the common room. I'm at that perfect age where I read the books when they first came out because my grandmother bought me the first one Christmas 1997, and I read it sometime in 1998. So many memories came flooding back of the little moments... my parents letting me stay up all night when Goblet of Fire came in the mail so I can read as much as I could before I fell asleep, my grandfather taking me to see Sorcerer's Stone in theaters, etc. Emma and I are the same age and her birthday is the day before mine, so growing up she was like my first celebrity crush, haha. It feels like I grew up with them. To see them all adults but still talking about this transformative experience that changed the course of their lives... man that was special. Okay, rant over. I don't care how old I get, the Harry Potter universe will always be an important part of my life.
