I want to re-read these but I'm doing a 14 book series right now so I'm subsisting on Binge Mode and I have to say these are some of the greatest podcasts I've listened to. Mallory and Jason are great.

Curious if this would be worth it

 

For our honeymoon, my wife (still weird saying that) and I are going to London over Christmas. The day we arrive, we will be visiting the actual Hogwarts and she is beyond excited! At first I thought it was just visiting the location, and that's cool enough for me, but apparently it's a whole interactive kinda thing, so I'm even more excited about it now.

 

Bought Sorcerer's Stone illustrated edition for like $13 on Amazon and it's incredibly gorgeous

Update: the Harry Potter world place in London was unnnnnnreal. All the actual sets, wardrobes, props, etc. I’m not even that huge of a HP fan, but even I was totally blown away.

If you won’t ever get to London to see it personally, you should check out walkthrough videos on YouTube. Very cool stuff.

I've been wanting a big scale harry potter game for a long time. I'm not buying an xbox and PS5 anytime soon but when I do I'll get this game

It kinda looks and sounds like an MMORPG-light

 

I’d fuck with it except JK is too tied to the franchise for me to be comfortable with and I don’t like MMOs

 

I’ve been waiting for this game for years ever since the gameplay leaked.

I know that Rowling is a piece of garbage, but at this point the HP universe is bigger than Rowling. It belongs to the fans, and as a fan I’ve wanted an opportunity to play through Hogwarts like this since I first read Sorcerer’s Stone in 5th grade.

 

I agree that the HP universe has become bigger than Rowling.

 

Even if that was true, she’s still getting money from sales of the game
