I would spend so much money if the classic DCOMs were in theaters for like Fathom events or something.

Full disclosure I used to run a twitter dedicated to DCOMs. I take this shit very seriously

I really liked this honestly. Was a little bummed it seemed to move away from being a real slasher film, but overall it was still great and a ton of fun.

 

Saw this last night and I loved it. I never saw the first one (always wanted to but never got around to it). It was just so much fun, just enough suspense to keep it a little tense, and I even got emotional at parts. The Hard Times sequence killed me (pun intended). The only thing I can't understand is of all the ways to kill yourself, why would you ever use a wood chipper that just seems like the most brutally painful way to go lol
Anyway, I definitely want to watch the first now. Sounds like it might be tonally pretty different, so I'm interested to see that, and then rewatch this one with a little more context for everything.

This was a lot of fun. The Hard Times part was great. Loved the mid-credit scene.

This sucks because Landon seemed to have some great ideas for a third one, now we'll never know

This made about half as the original. But still it’s a low budget sequel that made its money back exponentially. Really frightening to think of the future of movies when the low budget stuff doesn’t get greenlit.

 

Yeah, this decision doesn't make a ton of sense.

 

I thought Blumhouse would have been happy to churn these films out.

Was really hoping the bump would be a movie announcement. But I guess this is like the closest we can get without actually doing that.
