It was fun, decent enough way to spend an hour and a half. Got needlessly sentimental at the end which is my pet peeve with movies like this and it could have been great if they leaned more into silly/camp element
I love that Carter is the dude from Bling Ring This was fun and I liked that they made it different each time but still keeping the familiar elements, I also liked that it wasn't too gory random aside Tree's polka dot dress and leather jacket were hella cute only problem with it Lori's motivation was unearned and misogynistic, and don't think anyone involved with this has ever actually met a sorority girl, pretty sure they eat french fries
Audiences really loved Happy Death Day. Where are you at with the sequel for that? BLUM: It’s finished. We’ve finished the sequel. I’m seeing it next week, and I’ll see it again when it’s done. Do you know when that will be out? BLUM: No, we haven’t decided yet. There’s no decision on that. I have to see it first. Sequel looks great. At our Halloween showing last night, I was with a friend who hasn't seen the first HDD and was telling them we should watch it before the new one comes out, and then the trailer for this straight spoiled the first one and I was like haha welpppp
The main character recounts what happened in the first movie during a montage of scenes from said first movie, including showing who the killer was.
I'm so furious right now. Sitting in a theater excited to watch this trailer and the screen wasn't working. We sat through the trailers of Pet Sematary and this with only the sound. It's working now for stupid Robin Hood but I paid to watch that trailer as well as the movie.
Idk what they were thinking giving away the ending to the first movie so straightforwardly in the new trailer, but what a bad call. Definitely sold on the sequel though, looks even sillier than the original and I’m here for it
