the Rolling Stone profile came out the day I saw her and it was heartbreaking. She was beautiful and so wonderful to see live though. If y'all haven't seen the Vevo Lift performance mentioned in the profile, that rendition of "Hold Me Down" is straight up the best ever.

I didn't realize she has that song that's all over pop radio about having a Range Rover you can't afford. Congrats to her, that's catchy as hell.

I thought it sounded like something 50 Shades Of Gray when I first heard it. Now it makes so much sense. Not really feelin' it though.
I think her music is, like, the epitome of pseudo-intellectual, pretentious-but-radio-accessible Crosley-core (as the kids call it), but my God if her songs aren't catchy. Her songs make me feel like a teenage girl again...and I was never a teenage girl to begin with.
