idk tiktok being banned is obviously bad as far as the us govt exerting total control over the internet / social medias but also that platform has largely been an L for music as a whole arguably... but also im nearly 30 yrs old so maybe im j an old lady who doesnt understand what the kids these days are into
It's both. It's a marketing tool that established artists can use but it's also turned the music industry into a clip machine, not a song machine
Yeah. Obviously the TikTok ban is very bad, and any sincere take that argues otherwise is wrong. But, I personally wouldn’t use its role in the music industry to argue that point.
H is gonna be on Fallon next Thursday! Hopefully this means she has some news to discuss (tour dates maybe?)
HALSEY TOUR HALSEY TOUR HALSEY TOUR My friend and I have been talking about and eagerly awaiting a tour announcement for months. So fucking glad it’s coming here. I never get around to going to concerts anymore, especially expensive ones, but as long as I’m not dead, I’m 100% gonna be there, lol.
In the promo video on social media (with one of my favorite comedy IGers playing her assistant) there's a new song playing at the end. Deluxe version of TGI coming soon?
Shocked/pleasantly surprised she's coming to Maine! I'll be there for sure. $56.50 - $181.50 here, and the Waterfront is a notoriously expensive venue.
My date of the Manic tour was cancelled because of the quarantine, then I missed my date of the Love & Power tour because my family got COVID, so I'm so glad I'll finally get to see her again. Last time I saw her was the Nightmare release show in Minneapolis, and I've been waiting to see her again ever since.
curious if this is just a one-off or if there's gonna be a deluxe of TGI or something (although it clearly doesn't need one)
