It's crazy how many times I've played this thing from start to finish in the last 4 days. Still waiting on my vinyl to arrive too!

 

I’m surprised how much I like this. Her last album was ok.

my NIN lore is my friend in 7th grade asking if i listened to NIN and me saying no bc i thought they were Korn (sorry @nohandstoholdonto) and i didn’t like freak on a leash at the time and then they were like no dummy and played me the were in this together music video and the rest is history

Still just over the moon with “you asked for this” and “I am not a woman, I’m a god”

 

These tracks and “honey” haven’t left my head for days

 

I loved manic but this is great too. I think honey and whispers are my top two currently. The live performance the other night was also fantastic.

 

This would be my #3

 

The sequencing is massively improved if you just remove Darling.

Got the Life was the better single from FTL anyway but y’all ain’t ready to have that conversation

 

I can't really argue one way or another because revisiting any Korn song is equally unenjoyable for me.

Probably my second favorite Korn album after S/T

 

I'm not saying Darling is a bad song (although it is my least favourite), I am just saying it kinda takes the wind out of the album's sails.

The part where they glitch out her singing "corrupted" alone makes Lilith whip absolute ass.

holy shit there's a literal organ on Lilith the production is off the charts. AOTY.

 

Korn is legitimately one of my favorite bands and it is almost entirely because of those first two records. I cannot begin to tell you how many times I have listened to them over the past couple years alone, but it has to be in the hundreds by now lol. Follow The Leader is just about half great or good and half annoying or downright offensive, and Issues has a very unique and consistent atmosphere/mood that I like a lot but it needs to be like several tracks shorter bc that backhalf is a blur.

 

stop thinking you know better than the artist on songs that shouldn’t be on the album. i literally only ever see it on this site lol. you don’t know better.
